1. Dig up the grass under the two raised beds and fill with new dirt and plants
2. Weed and clean up the strawberry patch
3. Clean up squash patch and plant squash
4. Cat proof the area around the squash
5. Plant new blueberry and eggplant in a bigger pot
6. Put shadecloth and bug proof screen on greenhouse vent
The two 8' raised beds were the most work. My back still hurts from all the shoveling. It took four trips to Home depot to get all the soil we needed to fill the beds. This one holds sweet corn, cherry tomatos, basil and cilantro.
The one below holds bell peppers, jalapenos, sweet peppers and heirloom tomatos.
The strawberry patch is moving along great and full of little green berries.
I am shocked at how quickly the plants in the greenhouse are growing. We just planted these from sprount two weeks ago! The arugula, kale and other lettuces we are already eating.
The broccoli and brussle sprouts have doubled in size since I last posted pictures.
I am so happy we are done with all the hard work. Now I can kick back and enjoy watching my garden grow. :)

I stumbled onto your blog via Freelancer's Fashion and boy am I glad I did..sewing, gardening and leopard! :) Do you know of any decent places that provide sewing lessons in the LA area? I still have such a passion to sew but I'm having so much trouble just getting started!
CurlyChronicles- Hello and welcome! I went for the gusto and enrolled in the full 3 year fashion design program at FIDM when I wanted to learn how to sew, so that is the only place I can suggest first hand.
I do know they offer classes at the Sewing Arts Center in west LA. I've never taken classes there but it's a really great place to check out.

I know JoAnns also offers classes though again, I am not sure how good they are. Hope that helps and good luck. ;)
