Today on a whim I changed my hair color. My roots were in and my bright cherry red was faded so it was time to re-dye anyway. I was too lazy to drive all the way to the beauty supply so I opted for a box dye from the drug store. While I was there I was surprised to find they had the one color in stock I have been dying to try but can never find- Feria #74 Copper Shimmer.
I am in love. I never have high hopes for box dyes and rarly get even results since my hair is already dyed. But this stuff is...magical. It colored my hair evenly and the color is exactly what it looks like on the box. After dying my hair red for over 20 years I have found a new favorite color. Yay!
I cut about 4 inches off my hair last week and added long layers. I should have trimmed it a long time ago, it feels so much healthier now. It is holding a curl much better and I am getting better results with my sets. Now I just hope I can find this color again next time I need to touch up my roots! What do you guys think? Did you like the bright cherry red or this copper color better? (Lol, I just realized from this picture that I have blue hands. That's what happens when you dye clothing without wearing gloves kids.)

I love that new colour, that's the colour I always used to have and I might try it again now I've seen it on you, it's definately a more natural red isn't it, I'm like you I usually have a brighter red. oooh love it, just looked at your pic again, I may be a stalker and copy you ;o)
