 I am going to bend the rules a bit and skip the nominating 10 others bit. I've started to follow several others on here but have not gotten a chance to really know anyone. So maybe next year? In the mean time here are seven things about myself:


1. I'm 38 and happily married. My husband and I have been married for 12 years but have been together since we were 17. This year will mark 22 wonderful years together.

2. I am originally from Texas. Both our families live there so we visit all the time.

3. We moved to Los Angeles 13 years ago and love it here.

4. I went to fashion design school at FIDM here in LA 11 years ago. Before I went to school I didn't know squat about sewing but I knew it was what I wanted to do the rest of my life. I'm still paying off the student loans but it was worth every penny.

5. I am a Halloween nut! I've been crazy about all things spooky since I was a kid. All my tattoos are Halloween themed.

6. I have been dying my hair super bright red since I was 16. There have been a few different colors I've tried inbetween but I always default back to cherry red. I've heard several younger gals in their 20s talk about how they felt 'too old' to have bright hair, but I say poo-pah to that! Your never too old to have a fun hair color!

7. I've been every size from a 2XL to a Small. I was plus size as a teenager up until I was in my mid twenties when I lost 80 pounds. I did it by switching and commiting to a healthy balanced diet and getting moderate daily exercise. It's been 14 years and I have managed to keep it off.
