Yes, I bought Ed Hardy shoes. I remember reading some where a while back where someone had said that only posers wear Ed Hardy. Ever since then I avoided even looking at EH stuff. But you know what? I don't care. I like these shoes and I'm going to rock them all summer. They are going to look great with the new polka dot dress I made!
My second splurge were these FAB wall shelves made by DSKDesigns on Etsy.
I've been eyeballing them for months and could not resist them any longer. Though they look it they are not vintage. He makes these by hand and you can get them in any color. (Clicky link above! He has them in red, green, white and even natural wood! Can you imagine how fab they would be in pink or turquoise??) They just arrived yesterday and they are so much bigger and better in person! They go so perfect in my living room. I put them up right on the main wall behind my couch next to me beloved 1940s Chinoiserie mirror. I had been waiting to find the perfect thing to hang on that wall next to the mirror for two years now and these are it!
Since I needed a new set of vintage Asian figurines to put on the wall shelves I bought these cute ones off Etsy. I think the green will make them pop perfectly against my red walls.
Last night on a whim I bought these adorable 50s green and black wall plaques. I have NO IDEA where I am going to hang them since I am running out of room on my walls but I could not resist them!
Last item, yet another pair of wall shelves. Can you tell I have a wall decor addiction? These are going in my sewing room where I still have a little bit of space left, lol.
Since I don't have anything to put on them that gives me an excuse to shop for the perfect figurines for them. That's it for this month. Over and out!
