Yipee! Look at what I have in the mail on the way to me-
A greenhouse! We have been wanting one for years and finally took the plunge and ordered one. It's only 6' x 8' but just perfect for our small yard.
Since it will be parked on our concrete patio I needed some raised beds to go inside it so I ordered a few of these-
I also ordered a few raised planting beds to go along the side of our fence-
This summer we will finally have a decent sized veggie garden. I am so excited! As soon as we have our first harvest I am going to start canning. I've never done it before but I have been collecting vintage canning books to get read up on it. The only thing my dream garden will be missing is chickens. I *love* chickens but we just don't have the room to keep them. That and we have three cats, heh. Aw well, I will just have to stick to buying my eggs from Whole Foods. My thumb is green with envy of the green house. I have always wanted one. good luck with the canning something I would like to try too but an kind of chicken the perhaps poison the family.
