It's been ages since I've done a FOAF post. Today I wore a dress I made back in February of 2011 using vintage pattern Simplicity 1610.
Hard to see in the pictures but I added tons of rhinestones all over this frock. A girl can never have too much sparkle!
Day before yesterday while at the drug store looking at hair dye I decided to throw caution into the wind and try a darker color. I was using Feria Copper Shimmer, a bright orange copper red, but this time I used Feria Ruby Fusion, labeled to be a medium auburn color. The Ruby Fusion ended up not really ruby at all but rather a plain ol' dark brown which I didn't like. So I slapped some Special Effects Blood Red on top and got this gorgeous burgundy color. Win!
I rocked my yellow and black frock with these faboo vintage yellow GLITTER sunnies. Oh how I love them but they have a gnarly scratch on one of the lenses. I can't see very well out of them but I wear them any way.

Love the hair color. Dress is very cute even if we can't see the rhinestones. I was thinking of doing that with celery too. I have some lettuce ends starting to get new leaves but It isn't growing roots so I wasn't sure if I could move it into dirt.
