Happy Friday ya'll. For most the day is over but for my husband and I who are night owls it has just begun. (Hence the late Friday post with pictures taken at dusk....)
It's been hot here this past week so today I wore a summery vintage 1950s orange and white nylon crepe frock bedazzled with rhinestone accents on the front bodice. I am a sucker for anything 50's with rhinestones on it. I also adore the orange piping and princess seam pockets.
I bought this dress last year at the Melrose flea market. I really like it but it's the one dress in my closet I often reach for but change my mind and put it back. At first it was because I didn't have any shoes I thought look good with. Now I have these- my favorite black and white Fluevogs that go great with it, but I still think this outfit needs something. Today I was happy pairing it with a plain white ribbon belt and a strand of vintage glass pearls.
I love how it buttons down the back but I always miss that one in the middle of the bodice!
I was too lazy to set my hair today so I did the next best thing; Go big. Go messy. And cram every matching hair flower I own on top of my head.
Happy weekend!

Love your matching hair and dress!
The dress is cool, there is a little bit of I Love Lucy going on there. I have to say that I really love the witch tattoo on your forearm. That's awesome!
