Flea Market Loot!

Yesterday we went to a new flea market held once a month in the San Fernando Valley called the Topanga Vintage Market. It was $2 bucks to get in and well worth the cost. It was much bigger then I was expecting and most of the vendors had great stuff. We showed up late just an hour before they closed but I managed to still find quite a bit. Here is what I came home with:

This early 60's Malcolm Starr gold lame frock. It's too big for me but it's way too fabulous to pass up. It's lined in silk!

These two lovely gold accented 1950's purses.

Five vintage patterns. I only paid $5 a pop!

A 1930's jadeite mixing bowl and a 1940s sugar bowl. I paid $4 for all

This cute 50s Asian lady figurine. It's not marked but it looks like a Heidi Shoop design to me.

Oooh...great stuff! I'm so sad I missed it for May, but now that I know I'm definitely going in June. It takes the promise of good, cheap vintage to get me over to the valley ;-)
