I have what would best be described as 'duck feet'. Super wide across the toes with a narrow heel and ankle. Finding pretty high heel shoes that fit has always been a challange. If they fit across my toes they are too big and cause the heel to slip rubbing blisters. If they fit my heel they are too tight across the toes causing the top of the shoe to rub the skin on the top of my foot. Vintage shoes are usually super narrow and right out of the question for me. I have always found boots far more comfortable since they are usually wider inside to accomidate wearing thick socks, but they don't always work my mostly 50s style wardrobe.
Wearing heels was out of the question until I discovered Fluevogs.
I am obsessed with their 'Mini' collection. Soft leather shoes and boots made with a funky 3" heel but with insoles constructed like a pair of comfortable sneakers. These shoes were made for wide feet and they are definitely made for walkin'. I own 3 pairs, the Sugars in black, the Babycakes in black and in the tooled red.
Every year I scrimp and save to treat myself for a new pair of 'Vogs. This year I have my eye on two pair I can't decide between. The black mary janes shown above, or these crazy purple lace up Lover boots. As impratical as they are I am leaning towards the purple.
But what do you wear with purple shoes? I don't own a single peice of clothing with purple in it! It is a color I have always shyed away from being a red head. To be safe I guess I will pair them with plain black or white outfits until I figure it out.
What would you pair them with?

I wear a lot of purple, and it "goes" with most stuff. I really like wearing it with teals/blues/greens the most because I love the color combo of peacocks
