I off and did exactly what I said I would never do again. After lamenting in my last post about how much I hated my hair last time I had it in a 20s bob, I off and cut it back into a short 20s style bob.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
I know many of you are thinking wait...what...why?? I know. Oh I liked how my hair looked ok in the last post pictures with the shorter middy 'U' bob but half way through the day once the curls started to fall and frizz out it looked so bad I just couldn't deal with it. Don't get me started on how yuck-o it looked straight. That and my husband commented that I should go for it and cut it shorter in the back. (While I don't love me with a short cut my husband does!) So...I did it. I went scissor happy.

No pictures yet. I am re-visiting all the reasons why I hated this cut on me last time I had it and trying to figure out how I can make it work for me this time around. (Accentuates my double chin, makes my face look thinner then it already is, is way too blunt for my features...) Right now it looks like this:
It's cute, but what I would prefer is something softer like this:
or this:
I have been looking at every finger wave tutorial I can find online. Yesterday I tried a sponge roller set and it was horrible! I ended up looking like little orphan Annie instead of Claudette Colbert. Lol. Right now I have my hair in pin curls so we will see how it turns out. I will post pictures as soon as I figure this out.

Hello! I just stumbled on your blog and have quite enjoyed reading it. Amelie is one of my favourite films, and I'll admit, her hairstyle is one only few can pull off. Hopefully you find a tutorial that gives you the right technique to give you the look that you want. I sometimes consider going short but don't think my hair type is right for it :D
